The Mieh-Mieh Lebanese Community (MMLC) was formed by Lebanese immigrants who descended
from the Mieh-Mieh village. Due to the country's 1975-90 Civil War, villagers refuged
overseas to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United States. This organization
is a means for keeping in touch with family, friends, and neighbors and also to
preserve the friendship, unity, heritage, culture, and language. |
